I own a “metal photo” of a painting of the Americas Cup yacht Nefertiti done by Mahoney in the ’60’s. My understanding is that it had been in Sports Illustrated.
My sister was a good friend of his which is how I, an avid sailor, came to hear about it.
I would like to now whether it actually was in SI, and what it might be worth.
