Children’s Illustration Portfolio by Carol Newsom

 

Carol Newsom has just joined our group – her beautiful children’s illustrations can be seen almost anywhere as she has illustrated over 130 children’s books! Her talents have been used by most major publishing companies and her work can also be seen in the educational publishing market. She works in traditional watercolors and oils but provides digital files for clients. Enjoy her portfolio of colorful and fun scenes of animals, kids, book covers, textbooks, etc.

Phil Wilson

Dinosaurs

Phil works in all traditional media, with acrylic and watercolor in conjunction with airbrush. His specialties are cartoon character design and scientific and nature illustration. His favorites are dinosaur art and Disney illustration. He has illustrated over 70 children’s books and his versatility has produced stunning art in all areas – advertising, puzzles, collector art plates, magazines, television, motion pictures, and more.

John Walker

Toadstool

John creates artwork for advertising, editorial, and publishing clients using a variety of traditional and digital media. Completed assignments range from point of purchase displays, magazine ads, board games, children’s books, ebooks etc. Many of his projects involve painting people in a representative style, along with animals/dinosaur art using both a realistic and anthropomorphic approach. He paints regularly with traditional methods, mixed media/acrylic on board, but most illustration projects are painted digitally using Photoshop and Corel Painter.

Lee Steadman

Lee is an internationally acclaimed fine artist who captures all facets of nature and wildlife in his beautiful water color paintings. He has provided art for corporate brochures and books such as the Galapagos Island, National Geographic Field Guide to the Birds of North America and two children’s books. His paintings can be found in various museums and galleries.

Ron has been specializing in sports illustrations for many years – creating art for Major League baseball teams, pro football teams, college teams, and professional golf. Much of his work can be seen in the Canton Pro Football Hall of Fame. His favorite mediums are acrylics, colored pencil, pen and pencil, and water color.

Jim Trusilo

Jim has been creating illustrations for ad agencies, design firms, corporations, and editorial magazines during a long career. He works primarily in pen & ink, pencil, & oil with an expertise in sports illustration and areas of architectural renderings. He has created many paintings for Major League sports teams and the Baseball Hall of Fame.
