Eugene Vinitski

dentist

Eugene Vinitski was born in Moscow into a family of artists. His first source of inspiration was his own father’s work, which he greatly admired. He studied in Moscow at the Central Art School and the All Union State Institute of Cinematography.

For the past 17 years he has tremendously enjoyed being able to pursue his love for art in Switzerland. He has over 15 years computer graphic and illustrator experience. His image problem solving takes many forms that fit the clients’ needs. By combining various situations and objects into bold and interesting angles he is able to convey clear ideas to the viewer in a realistic manner. Most of his early work was in oils, but now he can achieve a similar look which is much faster and easily edited in the computer using his special techniques.

New Dinosaur Paintings by Phil Wilson

Dimetrodon paintingLiopleurodon painting

Phil Wilson just illustrated two new dinosaur paintings using a combination of acrylic and airbrush. The first painting – “Dimetrodon” – was a 12 foot long reptile that pre-dated the dinosaur age and was the first predator of its time. The second painting – “Liopleurodon attacking Mosasaurs” features Liopleurodon, which is nicknamed “T-rex of the ocean” or “Sea-rex”  It was a top ocean predator of the late dinosaur age and is shown attacking Mosasaurs, which was a sea-going lizard related to the modern day Komodo dragons and reached a length of 30+ feet. As usual – like the majority of his dinosaur art being used for various publishing books – Phil uses a combination of scientific fact and super realism.
