George Schill created this illustration for Persad Center’s “Art For Change” Annual Art Auction to be held next month. Approximately 230 artist donate their works for this auction which is held every year. The illustration will appear on the invite & program covers.
George Schill was commissioned to create apple characters for a packaging project. The characters were used for applesauce flavors – Musselman’s Squeezing Packaging For Kids – look for them in your local supermarket!

From time to time clients sometimes request an artist sample page to use in a meeting or presentation to help sell a style. This is a recent example that George Schill quickly put together for a client meeting. The idea was to show a few “style” examples that were conceptual in nature. All images were past commissioned projects and helped the client sell their idea.
George Schill was commissioned to create a cover and six illustrations for the Cash America International Annual Report. The first image is the cover and the others are examples of three inside illustrations. The client came up with a group of themes for the art – Customers, Innovation, Difference, Team, Image, and Shareholders and after George provided color concept sketches and the usual revisions all of the art was submitted in digital format. The client was extremely happy with the results and also with George’s conceptual ideas and expertise!
Recently a client requested a “cartoon” illustration by George Schill but was not sure of the exact style that would work for the project. This certainly is not an uncommon request even after a buyer has viewed the artist portfolio on our web site. To help with finding the right cartoon “look” George created this pdf file to help in the decision making.
ShowClix is an online ticketing system that provides event ticketing software to help manage all aspects of ticketing operations. Venues and event promoters around the world work with them to manage their online ticketing, telephone support and sales, box office operations, admissions, and event promotion. They were looking for a new concept illustration for their website home page and commissioned George Schill to illustrate the idea of Millions of Tickets Delivered…Events Powered by Innovation. After a series of concept rough sketches George came up with the idea of a ticket contraption.
George Schill’s assignment was for the Media Bullpen, the Center for Education Reform’s website which brings accountability to national education reporting and “scores” stories across the media. The site redesign was to have a baseball theme, and George was called upon to create a series of banners and spot art using education, baseball, and media metaphors. Here is a typical sheet of idea doodles sent to the client.
