A nice illustration of Blackbeard from a recent book John Walker illustrated about pirates. A great example of his painterly realism. He reminds me of the characters in the new TV series “Black Sails”!

Eugene Vinitski was born in Moscow into a family of artists. His first source of inspiration was his own father’s work, which he greatly admired. He studied in Moscow at the Central Art School and the All Union State Institute of Cinematography.
For the past 17 years he has tremendously enjoyed being able to pursue his love for art in Switzerland. He has over 15 years computer graphic and illustrator experience. His image problem solving takes many forms that fit the clients’ needs. By combining various situations and objects into bold and interesting angles he is able to convey clear ideas to the viewer in a realistic manner. Most of his early work was in oils, but now he can achieve a similar look which is much faster and easily edited in the computer using his special techniques.
Ron Magnes was commissioned to illustrate two fine art illustrations by a design firm for their client – PPL EnergyPlus. Since the energy company recently opened an office in Pittsburgh, the idea was to give the signed prints to their special prospective clients. The first print highlights the city and the second print shows the north shore. A very successful campaign!
Larry Jones created a series of (24) historical characters for a novelty fortune-telling game called “The Decider” Â Kind of like a magic 8-ball but with a little ball that lands in one of 5 humorous yes or no answers that the famous person may answer. These are some of the fun characters that he created!
